From Our Family To Yours


In 1999, Abner King was a small dairy farmer with a fabulous recipe for homemade yogurt…

He started making it for others as a way to utilize the wonderfully rich milk that his grass-fed Jersey cows were producing for him. Little did he know – that was the humble (but spectacular) beginning of Pequea Valley Farm – being known for it’s incredible yogurt!

Over the years we have grown…

Now 4 of Abner’s (adult) children are dairy farmers. They provide all of the milk that we use in our yogurt. All but one have moved to York Co., PA so…now he and his wife are too!

We have just moved our operations from our little barn on the farm in Strasburg, PA across the river to a state-of-the-art facility in Delta, PA!

And even though we can make 4 times as much yogurt every day, we have not lost our hometown roots. We are still an Amish-owned and operated company and we do things "old school" around here. (Just got our English friend to put up some social media for us for the first time!)

We wanted to reach out to as many people as possible with our traditional way of making yogurt – minimal ingredients and minimal processing.
